Cookie Decorating Class

Spencer has a sweet tooth, and he particularly loves cookies. We recently took a Halloween-themed cookie decorating class at Studio 223 AZ in downtown Gilbert.

The studio has a little shop with many fine local crafts and Arizona and Gilbert-themed items for sale. They do not offer drinks, but you can bring in your own for the class. The sugar cookies were made for us, and all of the frosting we needed was provided.

There seemed to be a lot of experienced folks in attendance. We were new to the techniques and lingo, but were able to keep up.

The space is relatively small, so book early if you see a class that piques your interest.

I don't think we discovered any secret amazing talent, but we had fun and loved spending time together doing this activity.
